Plain (Plane) Khata Kitab 22 x 29 | 8 x 14 Inch Account Book

Description

A plane khata leaves the page empty on purpose. Instead of printed columns that force every entry into the same shape, you rule the page the way your trade actually writes — which is why plain khatas are still the choice for shops whose entries change shape from line to line.

Pairs well with the ruled tich button register.

This is the kitab format in 22 x 29, giving an 8 x 14 inch writing area along the sheet: enough for a long description of goods on one line, with the amount set beside it, and no printed lines to work around.

It suits item-wise entries, wholesalers and commission agents, and any shop that wants its own columns rather than the standard ones.

When a plain khata beats a printed form

A printed form decides in advance how every entry will look. A plain khata does not, which is why wholesalers, commission agents and shops with item-wise entries still buy them: a single line can carry a full description of goods with the amount set beside it, or columns can be ruled by hand to match exactly how the trade writes.

This is the kitab format in 22 x 29, giving an 8 x 14 inch writing area along the sheet – more room than a counter book, less bulk than a full register. It is the right choice when the entries change shape from line to line and a printed column layout would only get in the way. Four cover colours are available for keeping several books apart.

Plain pages also suit entries that need a sketch – a measurement, a diagram, a layout – which no printed form allows for, and which comes up more often than shops expect.

Ruled by hand to suit the trade, a plane khata fits entries that no printed column layout would hold. Sized at 22 x 29, a plane khata gives item-wise entries the width a printed form cannot.
